WHOLE PERSON COACHING
Are you satisfied with the direction your life is taking?
Are your goals aligned with what is most important to you?
Are you making life decisions based on what will make you happy, or based on what others expect of you?
Are you unhappy in your career but feel stuck because you don't see how your skills and talents could apply to anything else or what you'd even want to apply them to?
When was the last time you assessed your personal and professional goals?

As a coach, I use a variety of approaches and tools to help you get clear about your true values, feel confident about your skills, abilities and talents, and develop meaningful goals. I can help you create a plan to achieve your goals by gaining a deep understanding of your priorities, what motivates you, and the potential obstacles standing in your way.

My role as a coach is to champion and support my client through their journey of discovery, growth, and success.

SHAPE YOUR FUTURE
What Do You Really Want to Be When You Grow Up?
Do you feel stuck in your career with no idea where to go next?
Do you feel trapped on your current path because of the financial/time investment you've made and because your skills seem very specific to this role?
Have you been moving from one job to the next, but you just can't find one that makes you happy?Â
If you're like me, you made major decisions about your career at a very young age - before you even know what it meant or what the work would entail. And now, years later, after working hard and gaining tons of experience, those decisions are no longer serving you as you had hoped they would.
Change is hard, especially if it means moving on from something you've worked hard for or identified with for a long time.
On average, we spend about a third of our adult lifetime at work, and considering we spend another third asleep, it's important that our time spent at work is valuable and gratifying.
Why spend more time doing something that isn't enjoyable or rewarding?
Purchase a coaching package to figure out what you really want to be doing and how to get there.

ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS
Reach Your Potential
Are the dreams and goals you had in the past no longer keeping you fulfilled and motivated?Â
Are you unsure of what comes next and struggling to determine how to move forward?
Are you overwhelmed or unsatisfied with your life because you are putting the needs and expectations of others before yourself?
During coaching sessions, we'll work together to clarify what is most important to you, identify your passions, and determine what motivates you. We'll set meaningful goals, design a strategy for success, and work to overcome any obstacles standing in your way.

MAKE 2019 YOUR YEAR
It's not too late!
Have you been making the same resolutions year after year with the same outcome?
This year, change it up and set real, meaningful goals that you're motivated to achieve and see real results!
Coaching can help you craft a purposeful goal and stay focused and on track for success.
Purchase a 5 or 10 session package to start the new year on the right foot.

DISCOVERY SESSION
Give It A Try
Are you curious about coaching but not ready to commit to a full package? Try out a discovery session to learn about the process and see if it's right for you.
During the discovery session we'll get to know each other, talk about how the coaching process works, and use some coaching tools to help you learn about your values, priorities, and motivators. If there's time, we can also discuss goals you may want to work on in the future.
The amount paid for this session can be applied to the cost of a full coaching package if purchased within one week of the discovery session.
ABOUT ME
Have you ever looked back and realized you knew the truth all along but missed the warning signs that you were going in the wrong direction? It took me 20 years to figure out what I should have known (or perhaps did know) on day one.
Like many people, I started college right out of high school without a real picture of what my professional life would look like. I started out as an anthropology/sociology major because it looked interesting. But, the practical side of me started to get worried because I realized I’d need to get an actual job, and I was worried the fun things I was learning wouldn’t help with that. My business major friends seemed to have that part down pat, so I transferred to the College of Business and …it worked! I got a job and, without much real thought, stumbled into a career. Great! For years, I moved from position to position within that field in search of finding the right fit. I performed successfully in my roles, but I wasn’t happy. I knew something that was missing, but I thought I just needed to find the right company or the right job.
Have you ever dreaded going to work, following your routine day after day, like there’s no end in sight, wondering what the point of it all was? That was me, every single day. Twenty years into my career and I was miserable, cringing at the thought of the next 20 plus years of work ahead of me, and out of ideas. I struggled to get out of bed and get myself to work. I’d completely lost my motivation. But, what was I going to do? I spent my entire adult life building this career, I was actually pretty good at it, and I’d reached a fairly senior status. If I lost my professional identity, who would I be? What would others think of me? How would I see myself? I felt stuck. And, frankly, the thought of starting over was terrifying.
Finally, at my wits end, I asked for help to find a way out. Through therapy and the support of friends and family I did some serious reflection to figure out, for the first time, what I really wanted to be when I grew up. I reconnected with my childhood self by doing the things I enjoyed when I was a kid – reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, and coloring. The time spent doing those activities was a form of meditation. It allowed me to stop thinking so much about what was going on in my life, start thinking from a clearer place, and break the patter of negative thoughts.
With a clearer mind, I could consider my experience from a different perspective. I looked back on my years working and identified the times when I was happiest, and saw that there were themes tying those times together. I felt most fulfilled when I was growing and developing personally, teaching or mentoring others, and helping my coworkers and clients to succeed and reach their goals. And, it turns out, those are the things I’m actually good at! Perhaps I should have followed my heart from the beginning and stuck with the sociology degree. Oops! Hindsight is 20/20, right?
WHY COACHING
Knowing what I really wanted to do made it easier to let go of the expectations I had for myself in the past, and the expectations (real or perceived) that others had for me. It wasn’t easy, and it took some work, but I learned to redefine success and what that looked like for me. I realized that my talents were not tied to the field I had spent my career working in, and I could use those skills in any industry I chose.
Coaching allows me to use my natural skills and abilities, while continuing to development myself, and help others along their journey to success and achieving their goals at the same time. Sounds like a good fit to me!

"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow know what you truly want to become."
